REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: WEBSITE REDESIGN

INTRODUCTION:

The Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York City is accepting proposals to redesign and develop our website. The deadline for RFP submissions is December 1, 2017 at 5:00pm ET. Submission instructions may be found at the end of this document.

Our current website, www.amcny.org, was launched in January 2016 and runs on WordPress with a custom template. This site’s CMS was on Drupal prior to this most recent redesign. The website is maintained in-house by the Director of Digital Communications.

For this project, we want to partner with a developer to build a new site that offers an excellent user experience, is state-of-the-art and visually compelling, is interactive, easy to navigate, and optimizes SEO.

TIMELINES:
Proposal Timeline 

AMC issues - RFP November 1, 2017
Deadline for questions - November 15, 2017
AMC posts answers to questions at www.amcny.org/rfp - November 22, 2017
Deadline for submitting proposals - December 1, 2017
AMC completes RFP evaluations - December 15, 2017
AMC interviews candidates - January 3-12, 2018
AMC presents selected proposal to Board of Trustees - January 23, 2018
Negotiate and sign contract - February 8, 2018

Project Timeline 
The project will begin February 15, 2018, and should end no later than August 15, 2018.

SUMMARY 

Community MusicWorks (CMW) is accepting proposals to redesign and develop its website, 
communitymusicworks.org.
  
The main redesign goals are to develop a site that: 

1) clearly presents what CMW is and does via a clean design and uncomplicated navigation
2) integrates social media and showcases a range of audio and visual content that tells the story of CMW 
3) updates and integrates CMW’s Media Lab WordPress site, communitymusicworks.org/
medialab 
4) is built in WordPress or on a similar CMS platform and as such has limited ongoing 
administrative costs and is able to be updated by CMW staff
5) functions well on a variety of screen sizes (desktop, laptop, mobile devices)
6) can be adjusted within reason as the organization continues to evolve

CMW is not looking to fully rebrand but is looking to remix/evolve our current identity in 
conjunction with the new site design.


TIMELINE 

This RFP is dated January 14, 2013.  Proposals are due on February 14, 2013. Proposals will be evaluated immediately and a decision will be reached no later than March 15, 2013. During the evaluation period we may request interviews at our office and will contact you to make arrangements if so. 

We would like to finalize and launch the new site within 6 months of reaching a service 
agreement with a design partner.

I. Introduction

The City of Maumee (Maumeelis reduesting proposals from interested vendors to perform.‘ I website design, training, and maintenance services required to update and operate its existing website: www.maumee.org.

This Request for Proposal (RFP} outiines the basic information and services sought by the City of Maumee. Please submit four copies of the proposal to the address listed below no later than Noon, February 15, 2013:

The City of Maumee is an Ohio municipal corporation situated in northwest Ohio. A Approximately 200 fuil and volunteer/part-time persons comprise its workforce. The City of Maumee is a state-funded public employer, in good-standing with the State of Ohio.

The City of Maumee seeks proposais for a product and services, on an annual basis, subject to renewai, to perform website design, training, and maintenance services.

The primary goal of this project is to replace the current website with a new and improved website. The new website will be easier for users to navigate, more efficient for City staff to manage, and provide a wide variety of services to the citizens of the City of Maumee. Request for Proposals (RFP) - Drupal Website Development and Management
RFP Date: January 11, 2012
Submission deadline: January 23, 2012
Introduction:
A Boston-based company seeks Drupal developers to migrate an existing Drupal community of practice member website to a new (to-be-developed) website. The website includes ten main pages, including a blog, listserv capability, and a searchable database of uploaded documents.
After migration we plan to continue to manage content, but seek a back-end website manager who could make recommendations for improving site usability and functionality while also providing regular updates and technical support.
Only responses that include a proposal will be considered. Please do not respond asking us to contact you.
General Scope:
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions that address organizational and technical needs
• Custom module development
• Annual site security, maintenance and updates
• Transfer of site files and modules from current website to new website
• Site hosting
• Optional Drupal training
• Knowledge of Open Atrium
• In-house designer a plus
Timing Assumptions
• Full website migration will take up to one month; for your proposal please use two days of time to estimate the price for all back-end migration
• Website management will require monthly updates to the site functionality and weekly communications with our content manager; for your proposal please use three days per month of your time to estimate the price for management services
Proposal Should Include:
• Overall budget estimate
• If possible, detailed budget breakdowns with the cost of various project components: site hosting, module development, etc.
• A development (and design) portfolio reflecting of the work of current in-house designers (if applicable) and developers
• A rough proposed timeline that includes phases of development and deployment and communication
• Information about your firm’s approach to support and if you offer standard or custom support packages
