RFP :: Development of a WordPress site

This is a request for proposals to support the development and launch of a new WordPress based website for Illuman – an organization whose mission is supporting men seeking to develop a mature masculine spirituality.

Illuman worked with a branding agency to create an inspiring brand that invites men to do their spiritual work. This project takes the output from the brand creation process and builds it into a WordPress template. All graphic files are available as high quality .psd files that can be easily converted into any of the WordPress acceptable graphic file formats.

About Illuman
Illuman is a newly-formed 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization with a deep and rich history of leading men’s work through retreats and a life-long program called ‘The Journey of Illumination.” Our work was initially inspired by the work of Fr. Richard Rohr; today, a group of eleven “Wisdom Elders” have succeeded Fr. Rohr as the inspiration and guides to our work with men. The organization has a growing international and US-based presence.

Website Requirements

Our plan is to install a platform that can be extended and will scale. The first iteration of the website will be focused on communicating our mission, outreach, and background information about men’s spirituality and the Journey of Illumination. Future iterations of the website will allow for community engagement and database integration. The website should include the option to integrate with other social media platforms and the syndication of content posted on the website.

Functional Requirements

Our choice of WordPress for the website build is driven by CMS/ease of use considerations.

The website build will include the following functions:
• List upcoming events
• Listing of regional contacts with ‘click to email’ functionality
• Newsletter integration with Constant Contact (including ability to subscribe and view archives).
• Donations via Wells Fargo Bank (or paypal)
• Ability to submit form indicating interest in an event
• Search
• Links to Illuman FB, LinkedIn and other Illuman social media pages.
• Optional – integration with Eventbrite (we are not currently leveraging Eventbrite).

Request for Proposals Website ReDesign and Development 2014

Request for Proposals Website ReDesign and Development 2014

Summary and scope of intended project

Music Worcester is seeking to redesign its website, www.musicworcester.org. New leadership and a new focus in its marketing efforts are serving as the main catalysts for this RFP announcement.

The key goals for Music Worcester (MW) are to generate an eventual website that:

1. clearly presents who MW is, what MW does, and how MW does what it does in a clear, visually stunning manner with easy navigation;
2. integrates necessary elements of MW operations (social media, Salesforce-based CRM ticketing and donation systems, audio and visual files from performers) seamlessly and appealingly;
3. quickly and clearly confirms the quality of performers MW brings to Central Massachusetts as well as performance details to potential customers;
4. is built in WordPress or similar platform so MW staff can fully run the website after creation; and
5. functions on all types of devices (desktops, laptops, Apple products, notebooks, mobile phones, etc.) and works in all major web browsers (Chrome, Explorer, Firefox, etc.).

Please note – while MW is not seeking a full re-branding campaign, the organization has made recent decisions regarding a new logo and is seeking to have the new website reflect the vibrancy of its concert offerings. Also, MW is ideally looking for an entity who can take on all aspects of the website redesign itself and not sub-contract major parts of the job.

Guidelines for proposals

Proposals should be submitted to Adrien Finlay, Executive Director, at adrien@musicworcester.org before February 1, 2014. Materials that cannot be emailed, such as larger files on CD or DVD, may be mailed to 323 Main St., Worcester, MA 01608.

Please submit the following with your proposal:

- Letter/email of introduction
- Proposal that highlights how you and/or your firm would address MW’s main concerns as outlined above (expected timetable for project components would be appreciated as well)
- Main qualifications of you and/or your staff
- Proposed budget and fees for the entire project
- List or links to your work that you believe best presents your and/or your firm’s work as a website designer

Please note – MW has approximately $12,000 set aside for this project and will consider proposals with budgets up to $15,000. Your proposed budget must be all-encompassing – all costs associated with bringing a website from an idea to actuality and handing it over to MW staff must be included.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: WEBSITE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: WEBSITE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

YWCA Moncton is seeking an agency to design, build, and launch a new organizational website and provide consultation on database- and app-related needs. This work is part of a larger project focused on using new media to engage youth and understanding how Moncton’s non-profit sector can use new media to deliver on its missions. This project is supported by the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick’s Community Innovation Fund.

The new website will also advance YWCA Moncton’s mission, which is to support and empower women – and their families – through advocacy and integrated services that foster independence, wellness, and equity for all. The website will enhancing YWCA Moncton’s communications capacities and offer information on YWCA Moncton services, initiatives, and events. The website will also address issues affecting women and boost the visibility of YWCA Moncton’s advocacy work.

A new website is also crucial for YWCA Moncton at this time as the organization has experienced revitalization and renewal over the past 4 years and our existing website no longer accurately represents our organization. YWCA Moncton requires website that captures the organization’s growth, and drives membership and fundraising.

Consultation services on integrating database- and app-related solutions for information management, communications, etc. will enhance YWCA Moncton’s internal infrastructure, strengthening the agency’s growth.

Attached is the entire Request for Proposals (RFP) package. Any questions regarding the project should be sent in writing to blyons@ywcamoncton.com by November 15th, 2013. All responses to the RFP are due no later than 4:00pm on December 6th, 2013.

Sincerely,
Beth Lyons
